WHO WE ARE
A Fraternity Beyond Cadetship
Marine engineering careers span oceans, industries, and decades. DMECA was formed to ensure that as careers evolve, the connection to the institution and to fellow cadets remains strong, providing a space where marine engineers stay connected for life.
Founded as a formal forum for ex-cadets of DMET/MERI, DMECA addresses the need for continuity—of relationships, of responsibility toward the alma mater, and of collective support across generations.
Beyond professional networking, DMECA serves as a platform for mentorship, collaboration, and shared growth. It brings together experienced marine engineers and emerging professionals to exchange knowledge, uphold maritime values, and stay connected through the legacy of DMET/MERI.
